Founding venues

One flat fee. Every couple we send you.

Being on Sarx means your room is one of the seven a matched couple is dealt, with your table held and the night already decided. It costs the same whether the app sends you two couples in a month or twenty, and nothing is charged until your campus opens.

  • No charge per cover
  • Nothing taken out of the bill
  • Nothing charged until your campus opens
  • No minimum term

What the fee covers

Your card in the app Your photograph, your line and your price band, dealt to matched couples on your campus as one of seven places.
A held table, not a request When Sarx sends you a booking for two, both of them chose you and the couple has already agreed to come.
Your menu, your margin A Sarx couple orders from the same menu as everyone else in the room. There is no special menu to prepare and no discount to give.

Who you would be serving

Enrolment at the five launch campuses, autumn 2025.
Campus Enrolled Undergraduates
Georgia Tech 56,715 20,769
Georgia State 53,144 44,431
Kennesaw State 51,375 45,823
University of Georgia 43,887 32,684
Emory 16,511 8,341
Five campuses 221,632 152,048

152,048 undergraduates, average age 19.8 to 22.4. Undergraduates is the honest column: Tech's other 35,687 are online master's students who never come to Atlanta, and 16,000 of Georgia State's are at Perimeter, out in the suburbs. Both taken out, that is who is left.

Half of them have already tried the category. 51% of under-thirties have used a dating app, and 10% are using one now. Every one of them on Sarx is verified with a campus email before they are shown a single place.

One campus at a time, and each is its own market. Tech and Georgia State are 1.4 miles apart and Emory four and a half from both; Kennesaw is twenty miles out and Athens sixty. Your room is dealt to the couples on your campus, not to the state.

How billing works

  1. You are invited, and you write your card. Request an invite. The founder reads it and sends you a link, and your card is written on one page beside a phone showing what a couple will see.
  2. You put a payment card on file. It goes straight to Stripe, and nothing is charged that day. Your room is in the set from the first night.
  3. Billing starts the day your campus opens. The first charge is taken then, and monthly from there. If your campus never opens, you are never billed.

And the first dinners

The first date nights are on us.

On a new campus, Sarx pays up to $200 of the bill for the couples it matches first, for whatever they order from your menu. That is separate from the fee, and it comes out of the founder's pocket rather than yours.

Questions venues ask

Is $200 the exact price?
It is where the fee starts. The exact amount you agree to — how much, and how often — is on screen before you enter a card and on your venue page afterwards, and the price you agree to is the price you keep.
What if my campus never opens?
You are never billed. A card on file is only stored with Stripe, and the first charge waits for the campus.
How do I stop?
Tell us. Before your campus opens there is nothing to cancel but a stored card. After billing has started a person stops it rather than a button, so allow a working day, and write before a month's billing date if you want that month not to run.
Is there a contract?
The venue terms, which you can read before you ask for an invite. No minimum term, nothing exclusive, and nothing that asks you to turn anybody away.

Write to the founder.

There is no email address on this site, on purpose. This form is the way in, and what you write goes to the founder and nowhere else.
