Step 10 of 10
The things that cannot be switched off
The concept's third tab, and deliberately short. What keeps people safe — a verified address, a distance band instead of a location — is shown as a fact rather than offered as an option, because in the product it is not switchable. Blocking is here, and so is deleting the account.
- "Distance shown as a band" is a statement, not a toggle. There is no switch to find.
- Blocking is user-to-user and one-sided; neither person is told.
- Deleting an account does not delete the record that it was deleted.
